Christmas Honor Roll Program

Under privileged children are selected on the basis of having excelled academically during the school year. This includes a backpack filled with goodies, a day of shopping at Toys R Us and lunch with Udonis Haslem (schedule permitting).

Free Basketball Clinics

To promote the qualities of discipline and teamwork, the foundation organizes a series of basketball clinics over the summer at no cost to the children. Coordinated sports activities can simultaneously increase the physical fitness of the child as well as social skills needed to promote qualities such as tolerance and respect for others.

School Uniforms

The idea that all students should have the same opportunities while learning is one of our strongest beliefs. The foundation strives to provide school uniforms to underprivileged children whose families are not in a position to purchase them. This program is targeted to building self esteem as it offers the ability for the child to fit in with their peers and not be judged by the clothes they wear.

Etiquette Classes

Enabling our youth to reach their full personal potential includes the promotion of excellent manners. Through free etiquette classes, kids are able to learn and understand the importance of interacting comfortably and confidently in a social environment. This class focuses on table manners, which works its way into various social skills.

Annual Turkey Giveaways

The Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation has the annual opportunity to support local churches and families via a donation of Thanksgiving turkeys. In 2017, we donated over 3000 pounds of turkeys to the Mount Carmel Church in Miami and Mount Olive Church in Broward. We are fulfilled in being able to donate Thanksgiving baskets to those who could not provide an appropriate meal for their families.

Miami HEAT Tickets

Whenever possible, the foundation offers complimentary Miami HEAT game tickets to deserving youth in the community.
